Manual therapy
Manual therapy is based on the ancient oriental techniques for treating the spine.
It is divided into subsections:
- Techniques for working out soft tissues - muscles, skin, subcutaneous fat.
- Joint technique.
- Specific manipulations that come from osteopathy.
- Body-oriented therapy - the doctor achieves maximum relaxation of the patient.
- Work with the bones of the skull, sacrum, cervical spine.
- Visceral therapy - working out the internal organs.
The main difference from massage is the effect not only on muscles, but also on the vertebrae, intervertebral discs, bones, joints.
